What BrandMentions is used for

BrandMentions is social listening software that collects public mentions of the keywords you give it and sends alerts and reports. A keyword is whatever you ask it to watch for: a brand name, a product, a domain, a CEO's name, a hashtag or a social handle.

A mention is any piece of online content that contains a tracked keyword, such as a social post, a news article or a blog entry. A project is a container that groups keywords for one topic, brand or campaign. BrandMentions describes brand monitoring as following mentions of a brand, product or person, tagged or untagged; what is brand monitoring covers the task itself.

BrandMentions plans start at $79 a month, billed annually, as read on October 25, 2026.

Where BrandMentions looks for mentions

Every plan ticks social networks, short-form and discussions, video, communities, sites, blogs, news and forums. Its help center names Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky and public Facebook content, and review sites such as Yelp, Tripadvisor and Booking can be added as sources.

Only publicly visible content counts: BrandMentions cannot see private accounts, closed groups or private messages. For X (formerly Twitter), its help center names no X source, and no BrandMentions page lists Hacker News as a source. Its terms make no warranty on the completeness of data or mentions.

How BrandMentions alerts and reports work

BrandMentions sends two kinds of alert: one for each new mention, and a Spike Alert that fires only when conversation volume rises above a normal level. Alerts arrive by email, Slack, RSS or webhook. Scheduled reports go out weekly or monthly as a PDF attached to an email, and a weekly AI Digest summarizes new mentions.

Realtime means minutes to hours after publication, per the help center.

Who runs BrandMentions and what it costs

BrandMentions is run by GESKIMO SRL, a private limited liability company registered under the laws of Romania. The entry plan, Starter, is $99 a month on the Monthly view, labeled billed quarterly. Pro is $299 a month, billed monthly, and Expert is $499 a month, billed monthly. Enterprise is bought through a demo.
