What the BrandMentions free trial includes

Yes, BrandMentions has a 7-day free trial, and its pricing page lists the trial under Starter, Pro and Expert. Its pricing FAQ says the trial gives "full access to the app and all its main features", and a new project starts with the last 30 days of mentions.

BrandMentions' sign-up page says no credit card is required for the 7-day trial, while its terms say you will be billed automatically or prompted to enter payment details when the trial ends. Its help center adds that a card entered at sign-up is charged for the first billing period when the trial ends.

No BrandMentions page names the plan the trial runs on or any trial limit on keywords, mentions or users.

Is BrandMentions free after 7 days?

No. BrandMentions says it has no free plan. To avoid a paid subscription, cancel before the trial end date. Canceling a trial stops access at once. Upgrading from the trial keeps the projects and data you created. BrandMentions pricing has every plan on both billing views.

The entry plan is Starter: $99 a month on the Monthly view, labeled billed quarterly, or $79 a month, billed annually, as read on October 25, 2026. On refunds, the FAQ says to reach out to the support team, while section 6.6 of the terms is headed "No refunds".

What to test in the 7 days

1. Create a project with your brand name as the keyword. A new project starts with the last 30 days of mentions, so a week-long trial can show a month of past mentions.
2. Add a required keyword, which must appear in a mention along with your main keyword, and an excluded keyword, which removes any mention that contains it.
3. Switch sources on or off for the project, and set an alert by email, Slack, RSS or webhook.
4. Compare a week of mention volume with Starter's 5k mentions a month, and remember that keywords count across all projects.
