Awario alternatives on annual billing

The Awario alternatives on annual billing are Mentionlytics Essential, Octolens Pro and Brand24, as read on October 24, 2026. Mentionlytics Essential is $141 a month, billed yearly; Octolens Pro is $159 a month, billed annually; Brand24 Individual is $199 a month and Pro $399 a month, billed annually. Awario Starter, for reference, is $29 a month, billed annually.

Each vendor counts mentions its own way, so the table names the unit: Awario counts new mentions a month, Mentionlytics monthly mentions, Octolens mentions with a per-mention overage, and Brand24 mentions a month. An Awario topic is a keyword or group of keywords; a Mentionlytics keyword rule is a keyword or phrase, or a set of included and excluded keywords. Awario words its yearly saving two ways, so no saving figure rests on it here.

Where Awario's plans stop

Awario's pricing page says data export is available to Pro and Enterprise users, so Starter has none. Starter holds 5,000 stored mentions per topic, and Awario counts removed and replaced mentions toward its monthly limit. Pro is $89 a month, billed annually, with 15 topics, 300,000 new mentions a month and 10 team members, but its white-label reports are not included.

Awario says it cannot issue refunds for partial use of the service or the time left in a subscription, and its terms say the service fee is paid 100% in advance. Brand24 vs Awario compares Awario with Brand24 plan by plan.

Team picks: Mentionlytics and Brand24

Mentionlytics Essential allows 10 users, 10 keyword rules and 15k monthly mentions, with an update every 6 hours. Advanced, at $249 a month, billed yearly, lists unlimited users, continuous updates, 15 keyword rules and 50k monthly mentions. Mentionlytics offers a 14-day trial with no credit card.

Brand24 lists unlimited users from Team, at $299 a month, billed annually. Pro, at $399 a month, billed annually, adds updates that Brand24 labels realtime (its pricing page says up to 15 minutes), white-labeled, PDF and PowerPoint reports, 12 keywords and 40K mentions a month. Annual billing runs through the trial and then a contact with Brand24. Brand24 lets you compare it for 14 days without a card. Brand24 vs Mentionlytics sets the two against each other.

Community pick for founders: Octolens

Octolens Pro is $159 a month, billed annually, or $199 a month, billed monthly, with 10 keywords, 15,000 mentions and hourly refresh. Its FAQ lists Reddit, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky and Hacker News. Mentions above the plan are billed at $0.013 each on Pro, and you can set a monthly spend cap or turn those mentions off. The trial is 7 days with no card.

Awario says it scans Reddit continuously. For Reddit and Hacker News alone, F5Bot Gold is $49.99 a month, billed monthly ($549 a year), and Syften Entry is $29.95 a month, the only basis Syften prints. The Reddit monitoring tool guide compares them with the rest.

Awario alternative free: what free alerts cover

Google Alerts and Talkwalker Alerts are free tools that send an email when a name appears. F5Bot's free tier is for personal use, with 5 keywords and alerts up to 2 hours late. Awario's own way in is a 7-day trial on Starter features with no credit card.

  • Mentionlytics Essential for up to 10 users on one plan.
  • Octolens Pro for Reddit and Hacker News with a spend cap on overage.
  • Brand24 Pro for realtime-labeled updates and white-labeled reports.
  • Awario Starter when one team member and no export are enough.
